Depends on the tax/levy system. If people are paying taxes/levies, they have the right to expect good health care. But, it also depends on how you define healthcare. For me, it's the basics. Optional extras based on lifestyle choices should not be included. I don't want my hard-earned taxes going to fund cosmetic surgery, teeth whitening, weight loss, etc. Definitely not endlessly repeated cycles of IVF. Certainly not when ambulances are being ramped at our hospitals.

Health care is the right of every human being, we all pay our taxes, some more than others. If we don't have health care then more and more people will end up loosing their lives to depression and anxiety from being ill and not being able to afford to seek assistance,...

Accidents happen, people get sick and need treatment. Is it the individual's fault? Should they be responsible for paying whatever fate chose for them to happen? I don't think so. In my opinion, health care should be accessible to everyone, not just the wealthy people. It's time for people to stop being so focused on themselves and start being social and help out those who are less fortunate. Health care can save lives, and that should be much more valuable than money.

My opinion is that Health care is a right to every human on this earth. God was the one who created this world and we all have a right to live as well as we can and as long as we can. We have a right to get healhcare whenever we need it. It is not a privilege to want to stay alive.

Health care is most certainly a right. Every human on Earth should have access to some kind of health care. Going to hospitals, doctors, dentists and optometrists, for example, are places that everyone needs to have access to in order to look after their health.

General healthcare is a right. Even ancestors all had access to the herb woman or medicine man! It is unfortunate that in this day and age it is being pedalled as a privilege. In saying that if you have monetary access why should you not pay a portion for some of your more specialist access? Just saying ! if everyone dips their hand into the pocket it will be empty very soon and everyone keeps complaining that their cost go up and up.

i think it is a right. A privilege is something that has to be earnt (or purchased) and it is absolutely inhumane to deny someone access to healthcare just because they do not have money or insurance.

Health care is a right for every human being..But with all commercializing healthcare is advertised as a privilege..Developed countries are privileged to have a good feasible plans to take care of health but some developing countries still need to wait for developed countries to send care and donated medicines to survive..Its quite sad how people on the same world are divided.Definitely a right. A privilege is something that is wonderful to have, but you don't absolutely need. Everyone, regardless of their circumstances, needs basic health care.
