Great barrier reef. Because it's one of the natural wonders of the world and home to many beautiful and fascinating creatures. Soon we wont have it to visit any more, we have already lost so much of it so i recommend people visit it now while we still can

Stanley in north west Tasmania. It's a gorgeous little fishing village with old cape cod type houses, clean, friendly with great seashores, railway museum, art galleries, coffee lounges and a sweet shop. Plenty of parking in the main street. Was used as a location in a recent movie Light Between the Oceans.

Just one favourite place? I would have to say Caloundra on the QLD Sunshine Coast. The scenic Glass House Mountains are a short drive inland, it is close to Australia Zoo and other tourist destinations. The atmosphere is wonderful - people are out walking/riding/jogging along the walkway by the ocean. Everyone is cheerful and friendly, there are great coffee shops, good shopping and great accommodation options.

Townsville, it's the most beautiful place I've seen it has the old world charm from the beginning of it's build into Australia's history & then there's the modern now as well. It's beaches are spectacular as are the other vistas awaiting you. It covers singles as well as families with ease. There is always something to do there & no chance of you getting bored as even sitting on your hotel patio you fall under the spell of Townsville. You can take in the Great Barrier Reef as well as so many other historical places in & around it. The plane descent into Townsville is so picturesque & well worth the flight. Do yourself a favour & go see what I mean you won't be disappointed especially if you connect with that magical place Magnetic Island - WOW is not enough to say on the beauty of that little treasure. Happy trails .

It depends if you are a family with young kids or a couple but Queensland is a must. For families I'd recommend the Gold Coast with the beach, theme parks, resorts with pools etc there is so much to see and do. For couples I'd recommend one of the many islands off the coast, especially Hayman. Some islands are great for kids too like Daydream or Hamilton. Either way Queensland is a must for any interstate or overseas dwellers.

Tax time love it or hate it?
I always hated it for years as every year I had to pay the tax office when suddenly I finally am getting return. This year instead of everyone else bragging about tax returns and what to waste it on it's my turn - BRAG BRAG BRAG

Tweed Heads. The world at your feet all within 5 to 30 mins in any direction. Surfing, swim with the dolphins, whale watching. Fishing , fresh water, rock or surf. a catch practically guaranteed, if not pop down to the trawlers and buy one at cost not retail, treat yourself to some prawns too . Boating on the tweed River and its estuary's. Five star Casinos, dining and entertainment on every corner or a short distance. ( Star Casino only twenty mins away, get a limo cheaper than a taxi.) Hinterland scenery, views. bush walks, even a mountain climb for the fittest. Theme parks just twenty minutes away. Accommodation from budget to Deluxe and in between. Clean crisp air , sunny days and even if it rains it is spectacular to view over the ocean. ( can tend to be a little windy in August). Shopping mecha in all directions. Taxi drivers who know the road rules and top spots. Airport ten minutes away. I guess you get my drift, and you can too if you visit the Tweed. Happy trails for all who visit.
