In Newfoundland, I had Cod's Tongue, which is a misnomer as it is actually the tender flesh sliced from the inside of a cod's mouth. Very tender, moist and delicious. Reply

Buttered fried elderberry flowers (before it becomes a fruit), a delicacy in Croatia and Bosnia. It's very fragrant and delicious! Reply

Garlic snails in Lodeve, France :) the flavor was incredible but the texture was very rubbery, bumpy and off-putting.
But I had what may be once in a lifetime experience.
