you may have thought about your bone density and possible issues like osteoporosis (heart disease, etc). Please read this article to help yourself through nutrition rather than drugs: https://www.greenmedinfo.health/blog/genistein-soy-nutrient-puts-bone-drugs-shame

Thanks for the article, niair, and somehow I have been looking after myself without realising it. often have tofu - round about once a week, and my GP has ordered a couple of bone density scans. Seems I'm more like a 40yo than a 75yo with those scans. Apart from what we eat one also has to take into account how we exercise - seems that is what is keeping my bones in a good healthy area. I have always believed in eating everything in moderation and I keep drugs to a minimum. Hope you are keeping well - so far I have no medical complaints at all. Stay safe and keep smiling. Cheers

Yes, started reading this article today but ran out off time to finish it will get back to it later one. I have to see if I can use the stuff as I do have osteoporosis.
The only problem is I can't have anything with oestrogen in it due to a tumour on the liver which is oestrogen driven, it's called a focal nodular hyperplasia.
Have no idea how it got there or when a GP sent me for an abdomen scan many years ago now and the person doing the scan saw something on the liver and they did a CT and saw it, had never heard off it til then .I was on the pill at the time the full strength one back then because I had endometriosis so had to come off it after researching it with an Endocrinologist.

Interesting N, thanks. I had a bone scan a few months ago, not too bad but a bit of work on diet and exercise will help. Wouldn't consider drugs.

What I gone through the menopause? It affects people differently. Some it does others sail through it. I was fortunate to be of the latter sort. Positive all the way.
