Spring is here and so are the Bee's!

My 6 year old grandson, went to the park with his mother today and his was stung by a bee. Not once but twice on the foot. This was his first time. He is lucky that he is not allergic to bee's.
Are you allergic to bee?
I am very lucky, I am not allergic to anything. My sister-in-law is allergic to ants and if you gets bitten by a ants, she swell up.

Dad used to cut a lemon in half, shell it out, catch a bee in it then hold it on his knees and antagonise it until it stung him. He claimed it gave him relief from arthritis. I claimed he was mad and just bought him some deep heat. A little bit out there but aren't all Dads supposed to Beeeee?
Oh Max..made your quiche recipe last night and it was a hit so now added to my ever increasing menu repertoire so Thanks for posting. :-)

Many years ago my son was bitten by a trap door spider and had a serious reaction to it. Doctor told us that the the venom from a trap door spider and from a bee sting are the same. So should my son ever be bitten by a bee he would have the same reaction.
Also I was bitten by a wasp and an elderly gentleman told me to cut an onion in half and put on the sting. I did, and within 30 secs the pain went from a 10 to a 2..Only a few mins later and the pain was gone totally. I have been told it works for bee stings too.

No allergies but if bitten by bees wasps ants or spiders I do swell up a bit, it is the histamine that causes it and a natural reaction.. Bless the bees they are the reason our crops grow. Reply
