Qatar, Searching Women on a Plane.

On the news today. A premature baby was found in the toilets at the Doha Airport. All of the women on a flight bound for Australia were taken off the plane(regardless of their age) and examined to see if they had recently given birth. 13 of women were Australian This happened in early October. The women who arrived back to Australia (they were put in Quarantine as per rules) contacted the Federal Govt and told them the story. The Foreign Minister is in talks with Qatar. What do you think of all of this? Thanks.

I heard about this too, what a dreadful thing to happen, those poor women. Why couldn't they have done DNA tests! Reply

It is a total disgrace reminds me when the Victorian Police raided a Gay Night Club, and stripped searched all the patrons, not changing their gloves, and violated their human rights. It was a drug raid, out of over 1000 patrons only 3 people were caught with any drugs on them Reply

I feel that it is a horrible situation for the women to be in and especially the mother. I am pleased that the baby seems to be OK. I do hope that there is a investigation into this. Reply

This was posted below pags but I hadn't realised until later today this occurred about a month ago. As I said earlier not only do I feel for the women who were abused but also the concern for the state of the woman who felt it was the only choice to leave a newborn in an airport bathroom. Terrible situation. Reply
