Tattoos on older people what will they look like?

Read this article - it has some interesting pictures of older people with tattoos and what they think about them

https://www.boredpanda.com/tattooed-elderly-people/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=organic

I don't think tattoos enhance anyone really, especially the sleeves - to me they always look like the persons skin is dirty.

I know tattoos are a popular fashion at the moment. But as fashions go - or they come and go - I think many people are going to wish they had not got one.

What do you reckon?

If people want tattoos then go for it but im not a fan myself. I like to was my dirty sleeves.
A lot couldn't look much worse than they do when new anyway.

I used to see so many older people with tattoo`s when i worked in Palliative Care. Most regretted having them but some loved them as they had a special name on the arm.Personally i don`t have any but would not voice my opinion on others as its not my place to do so Reply

They may look OK at the start but alas when one gets older they do not. There was an ad on TV a while ago of a lovely older lady with a tattoo on her arm and it looked ghastly. To each their own I say. One of my daughter's has a couple of very discreet ones and they look quite nice. Reply

I don't mind some but still rather them on men and prefer the older less colourful ones. Sometimes its just a "look at me, look at me" but I guess we broke boundaries by having double ear piercings. Rebellious I know! Reply
