Yay. Queensland Borders to Open.

Our borders will be fully opened by Christmas. However you must be fully vaccinated and have a negative Covid Test 72 hours prior, and must be coming in by air. Some must home quarantine when they arrive. We have friends in Melbourne who so desperately want to visit. What do you think of these conditions. Is it worth it it?

This Premier has been a nutter since day 1, disgraceful leadership and lies. And somehow a plane is now safer than a car? So you live a few minutes from the border but to get in to Qld must travel miles to Sydney to jump on a plane full of people to fly in rather than just jump in your car (with just you or your family) and drive over the border, geez I wonder what is more risky? Such as disincentive to visit, sorry Qlders but well you did vote this crazy woman in. Reply

I think she is just following the polls. I feel for queenslands decimated economy hopefully it is not past the point of no return. Reply

Pushing people who are fully vaccinated into 14 day quarantine, will mean no tourists Reply

Sounds sensible to me but time will tell, I feel for you and your friends from Melbourne but I would think Queensland should be cautious about opening up to Victoria until their rate of cases drop. Reply
