Should unvaccinated international tennis players be allowed to compete at the 2022 Australian Open in Melbourne?
Closed

In a leaked email from the Victorian government, it appears that unvaccinated international tennis players will be allowed to play at the 2022 Australian Open in Melbourne, despite Australian players and spectators being required to be double vaccinated. Do you think this is fair and justified?

No Un Vaxed (apart from medical reasons, ) be allowed in, If you want to come in and have no vax then into Isolation for the time needed that you are clear of the Virus at your cost not the Tax payer.
This tennis player has a big mouth, Lets see him put action into words on this one. No Loss with-out him, Rather sit in the Boiling Sun and watch AB. NO1.

Definitely NOT. They are no different than anyone else and should not be treated so. It is all about money of course.

Definitely not. Everyone needs to be vaccinated to protect all of us. Celebrities should not be allowed to be exempt from the rules. Who are they anyway? A bunch of spoilt brats I think.
We are humans with the same rules to follow.

They should absolutely not be allowed to compete at our Australian Open if they are unvaccinated. If we have to be double vaccinated just to attend as spectators, they should have to be vaccinated to play. We basically have to be double vaccinated just to leave our front door here in Victoria, so this would be a blatant case of double standards and special treatment. My suspicion is that the rules are being "modified" just to bring Novak Djokovic in.
