Book review: The Millionaire Castaway by David Glasheen

A most amazing story of one who left modern city dwelling behind after the 1987 stock market crash and lived the life of Robinson Crusoe on an island off the coast or Queensland. The story is inspiring and he and his dog have to keep a very wary eye out for an often visiting crocodile. Quote from Dick Smith: 'One of the most entertaining and inspiring stories I've ever read.' A fantastic read that will take your mind off the current election outcome .

Thanks so much Cilly and I love that these types of things can take us away from the other things going on in every day life. Have a lovely night and a wonderful Sunday tomorrow. Reply

Sounds interesting Cilly and quite appealing to me but I wouldn't have the guts to do it. Reply

I was amazed that someone was happy on their own on a desert island by choice, but did eventually understand his reasons. He writes a very good story. Reply
