Although the event itself was shocking, his reasons were appalling. Why kill your own people to express a hatred of Muslims - that's senseless reasoning.
Although it's clearly murder, it's also a crime against humanity and I hope that's what he's tried for.
My deepest sympathy for all the people of Norway.

We in Tasmania, so understand about these tragic events, as many people may have forgotten about the Port Arthur Masecure, back in 1996. I was back completing my year 12, studying tourism, this hit our glass real bad, because we could of been involved with this tragic event, because Monday we was going to be going to Port Arthur the day after the incident.
It saddens me when I hear of these such events, especially when it is in a country or town you would least expect it, so it becomes more of a shock. Every one I have met who is Norwegian have been very polite, friendly and warm and caring. I wish everyone in Finland love and warmth, it is great seeing everyone sticking together in the time of this crisis.
