The handsome blond in my avatar is my boy Diablo (who was Boo's other son), who was killed on the highway a month before their 4th birthday. For being a "devil", he was the sweetest, gentlest cat I've ever known. He was also the smartest cat I've ever had - he actually knew to jump in the kitchen window to get my attention and then, when I'd motion to the front door, he knew to go to THAT door and no other because that was where I was heading. It almost killed me when I found him in the road. I've lost other kitties and would have been torn up over losing any of the herd I have now but his loss hit me particularly hard.
