I think it's a good idea, I would like to hear the voice of a loved one who has died, even if it's just for a brief moment

I already have voice recordings of loved ones, but it would be interesting to hear the voices of historical figures who lived long before the existence of recording technology

I don't see a reason to do it. Waste of time and money.

I don't think this technology, even in it's most advanced state, would have any benefit for people to hear their dead loved ones again, that just sounds like a bad idea psychologically speaking. recreating historical sounds and voices in order to determine what culture and life was like are pretty much the only merits to this technology I can see.

It is still just a scientific reproduction, not an exact science. Don't put a lot of faith in it really, too many variables.

Very rarely do computerized ideas of what things are or should be work out to be what it is in real life. I would personally hate to hear what the computer thought my mother or father sounded like in comparison to what I remember they sounded like. It would be chalk and cheese, methinks
